In the Spotlight

Thank you Deer Run Families-a note from Mrs. Black

Deer Run Families,

Thank you so much for supporting our Kids Heart Challenge fundraiser for the American Heart Association. Together, with your generous contributions, we collected $8150.00! The students had a great time participating in activities as a celebration of our healthy bodies and learning about how to live a healthy life. Heart disease is still the number one health threat in the United States. The most important thing we can do is to make small changes toward living a heart healthy life - drink water, avoid sugary drinks and tobacco, be kind, exercise regularly, get enough sleep, and eat healthy foods! Small changes can make a big difference in our quality of life. Thank you for your support in helping to keep our kids healthy!
