Parking Lot Safety

Please park in marked parking spots. Over the past few weeks, there has been dangerous parking seen. When cars park illegally on school grounds, our families and students are at risk. Children and their adults have needed to jump out of the way of cars driving recklessly in the parking lot. Please be kind to your children's classmates and their adults.

News from the Nurse

Deer Run Pre-K Families,

The State of Connecticut requires all children enrolled in Pre-K to receive a flu shot by December 31, 2025. I recommend scheduling an appointment with his/her pediatrician soon. I prefer to have these flu shots documented prior to the winter school break which begins on December 19, 2025. Unfortunately, without proper documentation, your Pre-K student will be excluded when school resumes 01/05/2026.

You may contact me if you have questions.

Warm Regards,

Karen Riccio, RN
